    Australia crushed India

Australia defeated India by 49 runs. It is a pathetic performance.

As I am repeatedly saying, India has no chance in this tournament. I will be surprsied if it reaches semi-finals.

Australia brutally exposed weaknesses of Indian batsmen. Rohit Sharma’s heroic innings is the only saving grace.

We need technically sound players like Sachin and Rahul on pitches like Barbados. India has no one in top order.

Sri Lanka defeated Zimbabwe by 14 runs in a rain disrupted match.

Mahel Jayawardene is man of the match for his wonderful century.

If rain continues, West indies and england may be cancelled.

    Jayawardene scored wonderful century

Mahela Jayawardene became third centurion in the history of T20 Cricket world cup.

Only Chris Gayle and Suresh Raina scored centuries in T20 world cup.

It is raining centuries in this world cup.

    India won by 14 runs

India defeated South Africa by 14 runs.

Suresh Raina is man of the match.

South African batsmen tried their best till end but it is too difficult to chase that score on west indies wickets. Jacques Kallis continued his roaring IPL form in this match also just like Suresh Raina.

Poor Indian bowling is also exposed in this match but Ashish Nehra is sensational in this tournament.

    Suresh Raina: Wonderful century

Suresh Raina is in roaring form. He scored outstanding century in just 59 balls.

Suresh Raina is first Indian to score a century in T20 Cricket world cup. Only Chris Gayle scored century before him in T20 world cup.

But, South Africa can still have hopes due to poor Indian bowling attack.

But, scoring 187 is not easy. Poor bowling performance. India scored 75 runs in last 30 balls!

    South Africa: Pathetic bowling

South Africans are not big match players.

    Their bowling is pathetic.

Suresh Raina smashed South African bowlers to all corners of the ground.

Raina scored 25 runs in Parnell’s over.

Suresh Raina and Yuvraj good partnership

Yuvraj Singh came into form which is a good news as he is a match winner.

After loss of 2 early wickets, they stabilised innings with a fine stroke play.

They need to score more than 10 runs per over from hereon to get a total of above 160.

Suresh Raina scored wonderful half century.

    T20 Cricket match predictions

    Today’s matches:

    India Vs South Africa

    Pakistan Vs Australia

    My predictions:

    1. South Africa and Australia are winners.

South Africa is looking strong in all departments whereas India is looking weak in bowling.

Unpredictable Pakistan is taking on Australia. Even Australia lost in warm-up match to Zimbabwe, they are committed and have big match temperament.

    India won by 7 wickets

India thrashed Afghanistan by 7 wickets.

Murali Vijay played good knock while Yuvraj Singh got some match practice. This is the first international T20 match for Murali Vijay. India is no more thinking about Sehwag’s absence.

Afghanistan lost match but won hearts of cricket lovers.

Man of the match: Ashish Nehra.
