    Good batting

Afghanistan is 115/8 in 20 overs. Noor Ali scored wonderful half century.

Weakness: Against short ball just like most of South Asian payers.

We have to see how india will chase this moderate total.

Can it win in within 15 overs?

Noor Ali: Cricket star from Afghanistan

Noor Ali set another record. First cricketer from Afghanistan to score a half century in T20 world cup. Congrats.

Ashish Nehra is best among Indian bowlers.

Afghanistan cricketers are playing well. They are playing in a mature manner and has built partnership in a cool manner with occassional sixers after losing early wickets.

It is a lesson to all small teams.

To succeed in international cricket, you need to have mental strength, patience, fighting spirit along with talent.

I am now eager to see their bolwing attack.

    Myth Vs Reality

Myth: Spinners have no role in T20 cricket. They will be punished severely in this ultra shorter version of game.

Reality: Spinners are most successful in t20 format. IPL 2010 proved it once again.

They excelled even on South African pitches in IPL 2009.

    IPL Vs T20 word cup

It is painful for Indian cricket fans to see such empty stadiums after seeing festival atmosphere during IPL T20 matches.

Future: Like football leagues, Indian premier league may become main tournament with occassional international friendlies and seasonal world cups.

Purists may not like it but it is inevitable. Like EPL and Spanish leagues, I want to see IPL for 7-8 months on every weekend with 15-16 teams.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan lost first wicket. Ashish Nehra is bowler.

    Can Bangladesh create history?

Bangladesh is famous in upsetting top teams at major tournaments.

So, Pakistan should not underestimate these giant killers despite Pakistan’s wonderful record in 2007 and 2009 T20 Cricket world cups.
